We are only a couple weeks away from our annual Good Friday Fish Fry! This year's Fish Fry will take place on Friday, April 3rd. Old Timers Night 2015


This year Colonie Fire Company welcomed two of our members to the Lifetime Active roster at our "Old Timers Night" 2015 dinner.  Once a member has competed 20 years of service to the Company they are eligible to be moved to Lifetime  Status. On December 29th 2014, Colonie Fire Company was toned out to assist crews from Albany Int'l Airport, Verdoy and Shaker Road for an In-Flight Alert.  A fully loaded commercial airplane had become unstable on the apron after what appeared to have been an equipment malfunction.  Both the front and one side of the rear landing gear had been compromised due to the incident and it was deemed unsafe for the passengers to disembark the airplane until … [Read More...]
